Class: Ladybirds and Butterflies Year: 2019 - 2020

Ladybirds and Butterflies enjoyed learning about how animals were used during World War I. They were surprised to find out that horses, dogs, cats and even pigeons and elephants were used in the war effort. They then made their own carrier pigeons and purple poppies to remember the animals that died.
