School Council

School Council

At WLSJ we have a very active school council. The children lead projects and dvelopments within this group and reguarly call others to take action and make a difference. Recent projects have included creating dog poo bag dispensers for our community field; writing to our local MP Rosie Cooper to get a new bin installed at the community play area and raising money for Ukraine with a cake sale raising over £518! Our school council listen to their peers and have installed a suggestion box centrally in school so that they can draw upon everyone's ideas for making our school and wider community a better place.
