Hibernation homes

Class: Forest School Year: 2020 - 2021

This week we learnt all about the process of hibernation and how at this time of year some animals hibernate and slow down for the winter. We were suprised at which animals do hibernate and James told us about how the frogs in his pond will be hibernating too. I set Eager Beavers a challenge of then making a hibernation home. They really wowed me with their structures, even thinking about the best place to build one and thinking carefully about how to make them warm and weather proof. I witnessed some great team work going on! Well done Eager Beavers-I didn't want the session to end.
