Day 4 of home learning

Class: Ladybirds and Butterflies Year: 2020 - 2021

We had another fantastic day of home learning. Butterflies learnt the new sound ‘d’ and they were all very excited that they could now write the word ‘dad’! Ladybirds practised their blending skills with Mr Fish. In maths we continued with our counting and subitising. We then used our knowledge to work out which eggs belonged to which chicks. In the afternoon, we concluded our RE topic of ‘I am special’ by thinking about what we want to be when we grow ups. The children were challenged to think about the jobs they wanted to do, but also to think about the type of grown up they want to be, whether they wanted to be kind, caring, loving, strong etc....They drew pictures and then showed their peers on zoom. The childrens’ confidence talking on zoom has grow so much this week and we are all so proud of everything they have done!
