Wise Owls enjoyed their latest art day with Mrs Wood. During the day the children were learning about changing perspectives. They watched videos that examined the world from different viewpoints, for example the view of Earth from space. Alongside this pupils looked at “Villa Victoria” by Japanese artist Tatsurou Bashi who changes the viewers perspective by making a powerful, colossal monument into a bookable hotel room, and Ilma Savari an indigenous artist from Papua New Guinea, whose textile

artwork wouldn’t be widely viewed if not for Rebecca Hossack London based gallerist, bringing it to a wider audience. The children then worked with pastels and printmaking to make their own images of changing perspectives.
