Bursting Buboes!

Class: Eager Beavers Year: 2019 - 2020

The plague has reached Eager Beavers! We are exploring what it is like to suffer from the plague, including having the dreaded buboes. These were large boils that were filled with blood and pus. The children carried out an investigation on their own buboes, dissecting them and observing and recording what was inside. Thankfully, they looked very similar to jam doughnuts, filled with extra custard and painted black on top!
