Wise Owls help to tidy up St. James' churchyard

For their Green Day activity, Wise Owls participated in some community gardening - we walked to St James' Chuch and helped to tidy up their churchyard.  The children did lots of clearing and weeding of kerbed graves - they enjoyed collecting pine cones to put on these graves - it certainly looked effective.  The children also weeded flower beds and planted flowers in some tyres.  There was also a general tidy up of the paths and entrance to church.
