Wise Owls' Green Day Activities

On Green Day, Wise Owls spent the day on our school field.  In the morning, they made themselves busy by tidying out the allotment shed; weeding around the new saplings; building a firewood shelter; and collecting a huge pile of firewood.  In the afternoon, they learnt about Richard Long and Andy Goldsworthy; artists renowned for their creative use of nature.  The children went back outside and collected different colours of leaves to use in their own colourful creations.
