Vocabulary

Throughout our Early Years Curriculum we are continually learning new vocabulary and using exciting stimulus to support this learning. This week we used our senses of sight, touch and smell to describe some unusual fruit and vegetables. The children described them as ‘bumpy, slippery, cold, hard, massive, tiny, fluffy, furry’ plus lots more descriptive language. We then put them into our fruit and vegetable shop for the children to continue to explore.
