Sportshall Athletics County Finals in Blackpool

As winners of the Ormskirk and district Sportshall Athletics Tournament back in November, we progressed to County Finals where we represented West Lancs.

It was a fantastic day out for the 12 athletes at Blackpool Sports Centre.  They each competed in two running events and two field events.  As can be expected at a level 3 School Games event, there was some really tough competition on the day.  Our children gave it their absolute all and I was very proud that they managed to finish seventh out of the fifteen schools competing.
