School Games Sports Day

All the children in school took part in our School Games Sports Day on Friday afternoon.  Children in each class take part in four different events, which are a mix of the traditional, such as the sack race, the egg-and-spoon race and a sprint; and  a variety of other activities, such as a baton relay, the Vortex Howler throw and the water-biathlon.  The children are split into five teams and as well as individual stickers for doing well, all of their points are added to their team's overall score.  The Year 6 children act as leaders, helping with the organisation of the events and younger children.
