Roman Banquet

Eager Beavers had a brilliant conclusion to this half term's topic on the Romans. We all dressed up as Romans for the day and made food for our own Roman banquet. In the afternoon, the children were able to experience a feast fit for an emperor and try traditional Roman cuisine (including roast parrot and boiled ostrich!). The children also wrote invites for the rest of the school to come and share the experience with us; great fun was had by all!
