Pancake Day

The children had the task of making their own batter to test and try. They were only given instructions about which ingredients were needed but the children had to decide on quantities. The children experimented adding egg, flour and milk. Lots of language of texture was learnt and spoken about. Some batters worked and others did not but we all got to eat pancakes in the end.
