London Trip Day 1
Year 6 went on an overnight residential trip to London. Day 1 itinerary:
- Travel by train from Wigan to London Euston
- Guide Tour around the Houses of Parliament (including the House of Commons Public Gallery during a parliamentary debate)
- Workshop in the Houses of Parliament education centre
- Staying at a hotel in South Kensington
- Travel by tube to get around London
- Sightseeing - Buckingham Palace, The Mall, Picaddilly Circus, Leicester Square, Covent Garden etc.
- Watching Matilda at the Cambridge Theatre
