Church visit

Eager Beavers visited Westhead church, to link to our ‘There’s No Place Like Home’ topic. Mrs. Dutton, who has lived in Westhead all her life and Rev. John very kindly gave up their time to teach us all about the history of the church and the importance of it in our community. We learnt about all the different parts of the church, before going on a graveyard hunt. We found lots of surnames that we recognised, as well as the old outside toilet!
