Chinese New Year

Today we have been busy preparing our classroom ready for Chinese New Year. We have converted our restaurant into a Chinese restaurant. We have made lanterns, learnt how to say Happy New Year in Chinese, learnt about the year of the Pig and all about The Great Wall of China. A special thank you to Margot’s mummy for coming in to help us learn the traditions. She even brought along some clothes for us to try on. 

Tomorrow, both Charlottes mummy and Margot’s mummy, are coming into school to cook Chinese food for us to try.
