Chinese New Year - day 2

Today we celebrated Chinese New Year. The day began with Charlotte teaching us all to write our Chinese numbers, thank you Charlotte. Next we watched Charlotte’s mum and Margot’s mum cook Chinese food. We all tried the new food and used chop sticks to eat it. In our construction area, children built The Great Wall of China. What a busy day!

We will continue to learn about Chinese New Year during the week, learning the story behind the animals and watching the dragon dance. There is a parade in Liverpool on Sunday, if you go please put photographs on Tapestry.
