Another Week, Another Two Tournaments!

Some children in Wise Owls ended the half-term with two more sports tournaments.

On Saturday, nine children played in the tag-rugby tournament at Ormskirk Rugby Club.  They played four group games and progressed into the Plate competition.  They made it to the final where they were runners-up.

On Thursday, eight children played football at JMO in the local knock-out round for the Liverpool Cup.  We were the only small school taking part and the competition was very challenging indeed.  Although we are currently top of the league in the mini-schools' football league, it is great for the children to play games against teams from much bigger schools where they are really up against it.
