Numicon

In Ladybirds and Butterflies we use Numicon for mathematics. This is an excellent multisensory approach to arithmetic. Numicon uses patterns to represent each numeral; these patterns are structured so that number relationships can be seen in a way not provided by written numerals. This week Mr Peetom worked with groups of children in our class with this resource.
