Gingerbread Playdough

This week the children have enjoyed making gingerbread playdough. They followed instructions and discussed how the mixture changed as ingredients were added. They commented on the scent of the playdough. They took care when adding boiling water and knew not to touch the mixture until it had cooled down. They have been using this playdough in our role play area to act out the story of the Gingerbread Man.
