First Fire at Forest School
Date: 9th Nov 2019 @ 3:08pm
The Ladybirds and Butterflies enjoyed their first fire experience at Forest School. The learnt about how to safely have a fire, how to move around the fire circle and how to sit next to the fire to toast marshmellows. They were all so sensible and showed such enjoyment in the activity. Whilst some children were toasting marshmellows the other children used our fantastic space to engage in imaginative play linked to our castle topic. It was wonderful to see the whole class playing together. Kates Place became our castle and the children had to swim across the moat. The children were using all the new vocabulary we learnt this week in their play, amazing!
