Investigating Ice

The weather has been FREEZING! The children were so interested in the ice and the freezing temperatures that we decided to investigate ice. We wanted to know how long water would take to freeze outside. Some children confused the term freezing and melting and so this helped them understand. We made Christmas Ice Baubles. The children were amazed that we did not need to put them in the freezer but just put them outside for a couple of hours. To our surprise they were frozen by hometime!
