The Farm Shop

As part of our topic on The Farm Shop we visited Taylor's Farm. We looked at the animals and what they are fed. Bernie and Joe our guides explained where each part of the meat comes from on the different animals. We then watched James the buther remove the bone from the leg of an animal. The meat was then processed and made into steaks, meat balls, sausages and lamb chops. Others items that use meat were explored and tasted, such as the sausage rolls made at Taylor's Farm. The food items are then sold in the shop therefore showing the whole process of our food coming from the farm to the table.
