The Little Red Hen

In class we are looking at the story of The Little Red Hen. This story is about a hen needing help to grow wheat. The other characters in the story do not want to help her with the boring jobs, they only want to help her eat the end product (bread). The moral behind this story is to always be helpful, even when jobs seem boring! Hopefully, this will help our children understand that they must be helpful around school, especially at tidy up time! They have all enjoyed the role today of making bread, kneading the dough and then of course eating it!
